I’ve always been a fan of fun car commercials and introduction videos. Such as this one by Honda. Today however we have a fun behind the scenes video from the guys at Carfection. Henry Catchpole has a talk with Ryan Benedict, Senior Design manager about how they create the much loved toys; their partnership with Jaguar to introduce the all new F-Type. As well as the state of the toy business in general.
It’s an interesting view of the design process of the toys. There are some sneek peeks at the clay modeling, digital dash designs and material choices available. Watch all the way to the end to see the incredible introduction. It’s a fun change for a brand that used to be known as quite stuffy.
